Anti-perspirants reduce the production of sweat. Deodorants work by reducing the odours associated with sweat.
Every person is different. When moving from an aluminium-containing deodorant to a aluminium-free deodorant, some people will experience a “detox” period. Aluminium can be used in anti-perspirants to “plug” the pores of your underarms so that you don’t sweat as much. When you move away from these products, the pores may expel bacteria that were plugged there before; this might mean you experience a fluctuation on odour and sweat levels during this transition period. After 1-2 weeks this fluctuation will reduce. Some people may not experience any change-over fluctuations at all.
Whoops! Your gym bag sat in the hot sun and now your Keep It Fresh Deodorant is soft and melted! Don’t worry, excessive exposure to heat or cold can be fixed! Place your Keep It Fresh Deodorant upright at 25°C/77°F and allow the formula to transition back to the correct hardness. You might experience a slight change in texture after this. It is important to store this product below 25°C/77°F in a cool, dry place. Try not to let it melt!
